Frequently Asked Questions
So you are going to get married but have no idea what to expect and what steps to take in order to find the right photographer for you? Don’t worry, you are not alone. Chances are that you have never needed to type “Wedding Photography” into Google before. So I thought it might be helpful to answer some of the most frequently asked questions for you below. With those questions answered, you will be able to get back to being fabulous and excited about getting hitched in no time.
How would you describe your style?
I like the moody and rich tones over the light and bright. I love dramatic lighting and the contrast of light and shadow. So if you like what you see featured here on my site, then that’s great news. That’s my style.
Do you edit the images?
Yes. All the images will be going through my post production process and I will personally adjust every single image to ensure it is in line with my signature look.
How far do you travel?
Everything up to 100kms from my business address (NSW, 2260, Australia) is covered in my packages. However – I love destination weddings and am available for bookings anywhere within Australia and certain overseas countries. All I usually require is a couple of nights accomodation, travel and any other related expenses such as petrol, road tolls and/or parking.
Can I get the RAW files?
Sorry but no. RAW files for a photographer are what a manuscript is to a writer. I will only ever provide you with the final product – edited and exported as high and low resolution JPEG files.
How much do you charge?
My packages start at $1,850 for elopements and micro-weddings.
You have the option of a number of packages that will cover everything from getting ready through to the dance floor action and even the sparkler exit. As an addition you can choose if you would also like to get a photo album designed or even get some of your favourite images printed and framed, so that your beautiful memories won’t ever end up forgotten somewhere in a cupboard on a sad and lonely hard drive.
How many images will I get?
It depends on the hours you book me for but anything between 500-700 images for a full day is the norm. You will receive all of the images in high resolution and without watermarks, so you can go ahead and get them printed to your heart’s delight. Either at your photo studio of choice or through me.
Do we need a second shooter?
It all depends. A second shooter just means that we will be able to cover more grounds, capturing more candid moments showing more of your guests having a good time. A second shooter is great if you are after different angles of certain key moments. Because after all, I can only ever be at one place at a time 🙂
But unless your wedding involves a large number of guests (150+) and you are both getting ready in completely different locations, I can guarantee that you will still get plenty of beautiful memories with lots of candid moments of your guests enjoying themselves at the party with just me as your solo shooter.
Can’t find the answer to your question?
